A member of staff will be on duty in the school playground from 8.40am. Although the school gates are open before this time, this does not imply any acceptance of responsibility by the school for the safety and well-being of your child.

  • KS2 children should enter their classrooms from 8:45am ready for registration.
  • Reception and KS1 children line up at 8:45am. The children will be sent to class in the following order: Year 2, Year 1, Reception. Parents and carers are asked to support children in lining up smartly by moving away from their child’s line when the KS2 bell is rung.
  • The school gates will be locked by 8:50am promptly, giving parents time to exit the premises. All children arriving after this time will need to enter school via the main office where they will be met by a member of the leadership team and asked to sign their child in the late register.

When the school day finishes the teachers will bring their classes to the playground, or, where appropriate, to the green gates by the cycle shed for parents to collect them.

It is absolutely essential that if you or a named contact are not collecting your child, that you inform the School Office via email/complete a form from the office, who will be collecting your child.

St Agatha's School is part of Kingston Council's School Street Scheme to help tackle air pollution.  Due to this, Latchmere Road, from the junction with Park Road and down to the roundabout that joins with Latchmere Lane, and Dinton Road from the junction with Bockhampton Road towards St Agatha’s School are not accessible to vehicles Monday – Friday 8:15 to 9:30am and 2:30 to 4:00pm (exemptions apply).  We recommend using public transport or parking in adjacent roads where possible and please remember the Church car park is available at these times.
Please do not park outside residents’ driveways.
