On Tuesday 4th February 2025, our School Council took part in the Primary School Eco Conference, which was held at The Tiffin Girls’ School.
The conference was a fun and inspiring opportunity for children and staff to learn about sustainability and get involved in eco activities.
These are some of the ideas the School Council brought back from the eco-conference to implement at St Agatha’s School.

- Eco warriors - litter picking
- Plastic recycling monitors - include a bag for collecting 'flyaway' plastics that can be taken to the supermarkets
- Tap check monitors and outside doors being closed (in cold weather)
- Pond in the garden for biodiversity and rewilding
- Litter pick in the local area - community links
- Book swap
- Eco club
- Let the garden grow - encourage biodiversity
- Swap shop
